Why to Home Isolation?
  1. To protect yourself and those around you from the possible spread of infection.
  2. You have to stay at home if you have either develop symptoms or exposed to someone who are positive for Coronavirus.
  3. You will be requested to undergo a 14-day period of home isolation.
What Home Isolation means?
  1. Not allowed to go to work, school or any public areas
  2. Not to use any kind of public transport or taxis
  3. Not to entertain any guests both family or friends
  4. Not to leave house to buy food, collect prescriptions or medications.
How to Do Home Isolation?
  1. Select a separate room, preferably with a separate en-suite bathroom & good ventilation
  2. Don’t share the rest of the house with the other family members
  3. Avoid sharing household items. You should not share dishes, drinking glasses, cups, eating utensils, towels, bedding, or other items with other people in your home. After using these items, you should wash them thoroughly with soap and warm water
  4. Only one family member should be allowed to provide you with the care and service you may need. Whoever takes care of you should wear a facemask and use regular gloves whenever they enter your room, and dispose of them after use and wash their hands regularly.
  5. Put a plastic bag inside the trashcan in your room, and close it tightly before disposing it.
  6. Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  7. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  8. Follow cough precautions: Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, or use your flexed elbow. Throw used tissues in a lined trash can, and immediately practice hand hygiene
  9. If you need anything from outside, order by phone or online or ask someone to drop them off at your home.
  10. You can use your garden. You can exercise in your house or stay atleast 2 meters away from others.

Mild to moderate symptoms: They may be similar to other respiratory illnesses such as common flu or chest infection.

Severe Symptoms: Some people may develop severe chest infection including, difficulty in breath, high temperatures, Pneumonia or may unable to breath.
