Dr. Tahir Hamid is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Hamad Medical Corporation and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine–Qatar. With more than 20 years of experience in the UK, Canada, and Qatar, he has cared for patients with a wide range of heart conditions and trained future generations of doctors.
His expertise includes complex coronary procedures, heart rhythm care, and the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence in cardiology. He has also played an active role in medical education, international collaborations, and quality improvement projects, all with the goal of improving heart care and bringing the latest innovations to patients.
